CINPRES EMPLOYEE WINS ‘STUDENT OF THE YEAR’ ACCOLADE
Cinpres technical coordinator and single mum, Anita Ash of Middlewich, Cheshire, has been named as the Cheshire Consortium ‘Student of the Year’ for Manchester Metropolitan University.
Ms Ash has been with Cinpres for 14 years. She graduated from South Cheshire College with a foundation degree in Mechanical Engineering at the end of term – now, she’s poised to start an honours degree.
“It’s a great feeling that all my hard work has amounted to this award,” said Ms Ash. “It’s also humbling to know that a woman can achieve such an accolade in what is still such a male-dominated subject.”
Anita also earned praise from Cinpres boss Jon Butler: “I am absolutely delighted for her. She is a first class member of our team and she’s going to play an increasingly important role in bringing new technologies to the market,” he said.
“As a company, we are more than happy to support Anita in the next stage of her studies and wish her the best of luck.”
